The heART of Friendship Art Gallery will host an art auction on February 17, 2012. The reception and silent auction opens at 6:00 pm, live auction at 7:30 pm at James Street Mennonite Church located at 323 West James Street in Lancaster. Over 40 professional artists have joined forces to support The heART of Friendship ART Gallery. The gallery enables artists to express themselves through pallet and paint brush. By creating marketable pieces of art, the artists have the chance to begin the path towards economic independence. Through a silent and live auction, you will be able to bid on their creations, as well as professional artworks ranging from acrylics and watercolors to pottery and jewelry.
Live and silent auctions featuring local artists will help to raise funds for The heART of Friendship Art Gallery – a entrepreneurial creative arts gallery and studio for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The auction showcases pieces of art from original watercolors and acrylics to quilts and pottery.
